Trainers
Professor Nils McGuinness Hoppe
Nils is a solicitor-advocate and founding partner of LDMH. He is also the professor of law and ethics in the life sciences at the University of Hannover, and the Dean of Research. Nils is author of the Cambridge University Press textbook on Law and Medical Ethics.
James Lawford Davies
James is a solicitor and founding partner of LDMH. He was previously a lecturer in law and medicine at the University of Newcastle. He is now an honorary lecturer in the department of biochemical engineering at University College London.
Jasjote Grewal
Jasjote is a solicitor and a senior associate at LDMH. She was previously a research fellow in life sciences law and ethics, and as Legal and Ethics Specialist at BBMRI-ERIC, developing and delivering ethics and legal services for biobanks and biomedical researchers across Europe.
Dr Nishat Hyder-Rahman
Nishat is a trainee solicitor at LDMH. She holds a PhD in Bioethics and Medical Jurisprudence from the University of Manchester. Nishat has held research and teaching positions at universities in the Netherlands and Belgium, working on reproductive rights and ethics.
